Solar panels aren’t all the same

It might seem easy to stick a small photovoltaic (PV) cell on a device and call it “solar powered,” but the reality is far more complex. Traditional solar panels are designed for rooftops and decades of service; mobile devices demand resilience to smartphone drops, bending, heat, vibration, and daily abuse. Research shows that in addition to optimized solar power management other considerations such as material choice, thermal stress, material thickness and manufacturing flaws can all dramatically affect longevity.

Capturing sunlight on a mobile device means dealing with far less solar area, variable orientation, and inconsistent light conditions. Our solar power management provides optimized solar collection even in variable low light conditions.

Clever Battery Design & Power Management

More mileage per watt captured

We believe capturing more watts is good — but extracting more value from each watt is even better. That means using smart battery design and power management techniques so every Watt serves you longer, in more situations.

What this means in practice:

Priority Handling: We give you control to decide what matters most —manual urgent charging (e.g., you’re out and your phone is low), optionally using your precharged case battery power and/or top off the case’s battery with additional reserve power for emergencies.

Adaptive Power Routing: When solar input is available we route intelligently between charging battery, powering the device, and maintaining optimum battery state-of-health.

Temperature And Lifecycle Protection: Battery cells are managed so high or low temperatures or rapid cycling don’t degrade battery capacity over time.

Smart Standby Power: Even when you’re not actively using your solar input power, your at least maintaining a reserve so your device is always ready.

In short, it’s not just about how big the battery is, it’s how wisely we use it — and how we get more from every watt you harvest.
